A useful way to read an anatomy question

  1. 01

    Name the structure

Identify exactly which tissue, layer, or appendage the question describes.

  2. 02

    Recall its function

State what it does before looking for a familiar-sounding answer choice.

  3. 03

    Apply the distinction

Check whether the question asks about location, growth, protection, strength, or sensation.
