Useful enough to publish. Clear enough to verify.

GlowExam creates independent study material for cosmetology licensing candidates. This page explains who is responsible for it, how we use sources and AI-assisted tools, and why a guide earns a place on the site.

Who creates and reviews GlowExam content?

The GlowExam Editorial Team researches, writes, translates, checks, and maintains the learning content published by Dunapant Solutions LLC. Our role is educational: make public exam topics easier to understand and turn study problems into practical next steps.

GlowExam is not a licensing board, school, testing vendor, or source of protected examination items. It is not affiliated with PSI, NIC, Milady, Pivot Point, or a state board.

02

Our six-step review workflow

01

Start with a learner problem

A page must answer a distinct question or decision. Search volume alone is not a reason to publish it.

02

Map the official scope

We check public candidate bulletins, content outlines, provider instructions, and state-board pages before drafting changing exam facts.

03

Write an original answer

The answer, examples, schedules, and practice material are written for understanding. We do not reproduce protected licensing questions.

04

Check claims and language

Specific counts, timing, providers, and procedures are compared with primary sources. General advice is clearly separated from official requirements.

05

Review usefulness

The page must answer early, provide an actionable method, work on a phone, and connect the learner to a logical next step.

06

Update or correct

We revise content when public rules change or a reader reports a supported correction. Material changes receive a new reviewed date.

03

How we use AI-assisted tools

AI may help organize research, compare coverage, improve a draft, translate structure, or run technical quality checks. It does not replace source verification or the decision to publish. Every page must add a concrete answer, be checked for unsupported claims, and fit the real study experience.

We do not use automation to create thousands of near-identical pages.

A new URL must solve a different learner problem or contain genuinely different official information. If only the keyword changes, it does not deserve a page.

04

The search-quality standard behind this library

We compare new pages with Google Search’s current people-first content and spam guidance before publication. AI assistance is not the issue by itself; publishing many pages mainly to manipulate rankings without added value is. Our review therefore asks whether a page offers original help, clear authorship, first-hand product context, accurate sourcing, and a satisfying answer.

05

Source hierarchy

  1. 1
    State boards and regulators

Licensing requirements, practical rules, eligibility, languages, and state changes.

  2. 2
Official exam providers and candidate bulletins

Content outlines, item counts, timing, identification, scheduling, and score reporting.

  3. 3
    Established educational references

Stable theory and terminology when the official outline names or supports them.

  4. 4
    Learner feedback

Used to discover questions and friction, never to override an official fact.

06

Updates and corrections

Exam programs change. Each guide shows a review date and reminds candidates to confirm current details. If you find a claim that conflicts with a current primary source, send the page URL and source through our contact form. We investigate supported corrections and update the page when necessary.
